My 21st Century Classroom

This is my ideal classroom, I used this website to create my classroom. I chose this set up because I want to teach physics. The tables are perfect for a space to conduct experiments, students could use timers and know the height of table to help find variables in experiences such as determining gravity or acceleration. I would like if my classroom was blue, because the color is often times associated with intelligence and trust. I feel that is a very good vibe to give off to my students. The classroom is organized in a way that the students can walk in and sit in their assigned seats. I could then stand in the middle of the room while I explain a lesson that the students can follow along while taking notes on the projector. There will be a storage unit that will have laptops for the classroom, they will be used for research and online activities.
Any students with a disability will have no problem in this classroom. If a student is in a wheelchair, the room is open enough that they will be able to move around and help in any experiments.
I plan on having a classroom twitter so students can have a way to be in touch with each other. Everyday I would post on the classroom twitter what the homework was, post video's, and notes from the day. This way students could keep communicate between me and them. I will find physics experts and celebrities like the Mythbusters, I would ask these people to Skype with my classroom. I found a website that is a PLN between educators, this could help show me new technologies, new tactics and teaching styles, and I could find new experiments. I found a phenomenal website called TED, it has informative videos about almost everything. I found a video about how modern physics isn't being taught in high schools on TED.
